The Memesis Project
Memesis is a 3D virtual reality environment with a biofeedback interface designed for use in CAVEs (computer automated virtual environments). It is an experiment in interactive narrative designed to test certain theories of presence and immersion in the environment and transparency or immediacy in the interface. The biofeedback interface requires a shift in narrative strategies. The aim is to provide the user with a greater sense of presence than possible with more traditional VRE design.
